Dear Diary,
Well my first day of school yesterday was a hectic one, but a great experience. I got lost in the crowd of juniors, and seniors. Trying desperately to get their new schedules which listed the classes they will be having the next 9 months of their lives lol. However I saw upon some fresh new "arrivals" a.k.a Freshman. some of them didn't even look the part. But you can never tell.
I saw my pal Nicole a.k.a "Shorty" trying to save me through the mob of soon-to-be-asshole kids. I was so happy to see her face I almost urinated in my brand new khaki pants. But of course I held it in. I got my schedule, they had 4 loser teachers wanting us to tell them our last names. I had to say mines like 20,000 times! because of this old ass man couldn't even hear me, but for that day I just let it slide.
Here's my schedule for 1st semester:
1.) English 2 (Ms. Lazzarini)
2.) Art1 (Academic, thank god) Mr. Rodriguez
3.) CAPT Biology (Ms. Boutillier)
4.)Algebra1 (Ms LaJoie)
so..
those are my teachers for the next 4-5 months. yes, it will be hell but worth it. And besides I adore my first 3 teachers. Especially Ms. Boutillier her classroom smells like babies, and nice fabric softner scent. it's terrific. Ms. Lazzarini is this short, fat lady. But though I know I will get along with her pretty well. Mr. Rodriguez my Art teacher....sad to say how much I love Art in my life. His class is boooooring! the sleep I didn't get at home, I took it in his class. tsk tsk tsk.
And last but not least Ms. Lajoie my algebra teacher. She's...ok. Not the best..yet. She's getting there. I have to give her a chance to see if I will enjoy being with her. I'll give it about a week.
For homework the night before we had to get all these papers signed by our parents. It was stressful because it was so many! It was like, looking for a new job (only school style). But I got it over with and signed. And made myself happy and the teachers happy. I'm glad I got it done.
Yesterday in Biology we were talking about "living organisms" and this immature boy decided to be an ass for a day, and besides saying "organisms" he said "orgasms" disgusting. No one cares about a having an orgasms, we are discussing about nature and it's enviroment. Why am I even bother explaining?
But anyway today was a better day, Ms. B said that we were her best class because we are very "cooperative". And I even raised my hand to say my answer. We were talking about "independent variable" and "dependent variable". I actually understood it. I took all my notes, and got lavish compliments from the teacher about my outstanding handwriting lol. And after class was done she told me that she was happy that I shared to say my hypothesis to the class. And that I was the only one. I felt good inside. And she also told me that I work hard and put effort into my work. Oh my god! It's been my second day here and I already got a compliment like that? so far so good.
Then Algebra, we had only 10 minutes of class because there was a meeting for the sophmores. the teacher reviewed with us about percentages, decimals and stuff. "Does anyone know what of means?" So, i raised my hand..."Yes Candice?" Me: "It means multiply. "Yes, that's correct". And this fat kid in front of me was snickering to his friend (who sat next to me). I gave the fat ass a look to show "What the fuck is so funny?" At least I raised my motherfucking hand and answered the damn question. And now the teacher knows that I pay attention in her class.
Then the stupid meeting it was boring as hell, I nearly took an hour's nap. But I got it over with and sat through the "opera" introduction lol. the meeting started at 1:00 p.m. and ended at 1:57 p.m. and then I went upstairs to my algebra class. She was asking if anyone did the warm up on the board. And then she said "I know Candice did". I felt great! I want her to see that I could do awesome in her class.
Here's my second semester schedule:
1.)Geometry (Ms. Barlowskli) <--I hear she's mean
2.)Biology (Yay! Ms. B)
3.)Sport Studies (Mr. Boutillier) Ms. B and Mr. B got married over the summer, awww how sweet!
4.) Health Education (Mr. Boutillier)
5.) Humanities (Ms. Finkenstein) I know her last name is weird. It used to be "Ms. Peck" but she also got married over the summer. She used to be my English teacher when I was a freshman couple months back.
Whoo!, this was a long entry. I was just telling you how random day went. And I hope it gets better throughout the year. I have homework to do now and I want good grades.
But first I'm going to eat my dinner, that's in the microwave and eat some apple pie!
Bye! *hugz*
Love,
Candice
